Pregnant television star Vogue Williams has delighted fans with a beach-ready Instagram video, showing off her blossoming baby bump in a yellow bikini. The 40-year-old, who is expecting her fourth child with husband Spencer Matthews, shared the clip on Saturday as she got ready for the opening day of a holiday. In the video, the mother-of-three joked about her changing body, telling followers: “I can’t believe how big pregnancy boobs are!” She completed the look with a printed summer shirt and a yellow crochet skirt.
A busy week away from the beach
The Instagram post capped off a busy few days for Williams, who was seen enjoying a day out at Wimbledon with Spencer Matthews on Thursday, shortly before the couple headed off on their latest getaway.
Asked to leave supermarkets over swimwear
Earlier in the week, Williams revealed she had run into trouble abroad over her choice of beachwear. Speaking on her podcast, Vogue & Amber, her sister Amber Wilson explained that staff in Spain had previously asked Williams to leave a supermarket after deeming her bikini inappropriate, telling listeners: “Vogue gets in trouble in Spain for going into the supermarket with her bikini. They have to tell her to leave to go put more clothes on.”
Williams confirmed the story, adding that she had faced similar treatment elsewhere, including in St Barts. “Get in trouble. Yeah. You get asked to f***ing leave,” she said. “Same in St Barts, surely on an island. I should just take the bikinis off and just go in, they wouldn’t say a word.”
The discussion was prompted after the sisters spoke about seeing women walking around in bikinis in Howth, amid a heatwave that pushed temperatures to 37 degrees — an all-time June record. Williams recalled: “I was coming into Howth there and people complain because they can’t sleep at night. And then I saw when I was coming into Howth, girls just wandering around in their bikinis.”
A Mykonos babymoon before the big day
The Instagram video followed a recent throwback post from Williams’ babymoon in Mykonos, where she was pictured in a plunging pink bikini while promoting her Bare fake tan range. She and Matthews spent a long weekend on the Greek island without their three children, staying at the five-star Cavo Tagoo hotel, where rooms cost upwards of £600 a night. Sharing photos from the trip, Williams described it as “three nights of long sleeps, relaxing days and not getting anyone but ourselves snacks.”
Expanding their family
Williams and Matthews announced they were expecting their fourth child in April, sharing the news during a family holiday in St Barts. The couple already know the baby’s sex but have chosen to keep it a secret until the birth. During a recent podcast episode, Williams also revealed that she and Matthews have settled on an unusual first name for the baby, which she described as “mad,” though they intend to pair it with a more traditional middle name.
Williams has spoken previously about suffering two pregnancy losses, saying the experiences have left her more anxious this time around despite her excitement at welcoming a fourth child. She and Matthews married in 2018, having met while filming The Jump, and are already parents to Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, four. Matthews has said all three children are looking forward to meeting their new sibling, with daughter Gigi said to be particularly excited.
