Joe Biden may have tested positive for Covid-19, but he is doing better, according to the White House. According to his doctor on Friday, Biden’s symptoms have improved.

According to a Newsmax report, a letter released from the White House physician, Kevin O’Connor, revealed that Biden had a slight fever of 99.4 F (37.4 C) on Thursday night. However, he responded well to Tylenol, and he was breathing normally.

“His voice is deeper this morning. His pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation remain normal, on room air,” O’Connor said.

White House COVID Coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha also told CNN that Biden was doing okay, and that his mild symptoms were pretty much the same. O’Connor said that Biden currently has a runny nose, fatigue, and the occasional dry cough.

The doctor added that two of Biden’s medicines, Eliquis for atrial fibrillation and cholesterol drug Crestor, have been temporarily halted as a way to avoid interfering with his treatment course of the antiviral drug Paxlovid. The doctor also stated that low-dose aspirin is being added to Biden’s treatment as an alternative blood thinner.
